Two fire engines have attended a fire on main street Frizington.
Fire Crews were called at 3:51am today, Sunday 27 September.
The fire involved a two storey mid terraced domestic property.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Firefighters used one hose reel, two breathing apparatus, one thermal imaging camera and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire.
“Two casualties were treated for smoke inhalation using oxygen therapy.
“Crews were detained approximately one hour.”
