Police are appealing to residents of Greystoke and the surrounding areas to be extra vigilant following burglaries in the area.
Officers attended an address in Greystoke on 30 September to reports of an outbuilding door being forced. No items were taken.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Please ensure all outbuildings are secure and are checked on a regular basis and where possible CCTV cameras are in working order and operating.”
