Adelaide Arnold lived in Bowness-on-Windermere between 1920 and her death in 1933.
During this time she published five works of fiction, three of which had south Lakeland settings including Storrs Hall and Wray Castle and the villages of Hawkshead, Troutbeck, Sawley and Rydal.
Author John Coppack in his new book titled “The Lake District of Adelaide Arnold” abridges the three Lakes stories.
