Two people suffering from smoke inhalation were treated by paramedics after a fire in Carlisle.
Firefighters were called at 1.04pm yesterday after a fire was reported at a home on Orton Park Road, Great Orton.
The blaze was already put out when the two fire engines arrived, and firefighters used two breathing apparatus and one positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.
Fire service were on scene for approximately 45 minutes.
