£7,000-worth of bikes stolen from Maryport property

More than £7,000-worth of bikes and 14 BB guns was stolen from a property in Maryport.

Police are investigating the reported burglary, which occurred in Ellenborough on December 19 between 5pm and midnight.

Entry has been forced to a barn at a residential property. 

Items taken include a Yamaha Trial Bike valued at £1,200; a Hardbike Hardtail 7.0 Bosch E-Bike valued at £3,000 and a Saracen Kili Flyer Bike valued at £3,000.

Also taken were 14 BB guns which are replica in style to G36s, M4s and Sniper models.

Police are appealing for information in locating these items, and also locating the people responsible.

Anyone with any information regarding the incident or the items taken, are asked to contact PC 2741 CARTY on 101 or call CrimeStoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111 quoting log number 14 of the 20th December 2020.
