Police are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered ‘significant’ injuries after he was involved in an incident with a car.
The car, a silver Vauxhall Corsa, failed to stop and the 29-year-old pedestrian was treated by the North West Ambulance Service.
The incident happened at around 1.30pm at Creighton Avenue.
Anyone with any information or who witnessed or has footage the collision is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting log 85 for the 28th January 2021.
