Cumbria police is appealing for witnesses following two incidents in Wigton on February 18.
The first incident occurred at around 8.50pm when officers were called to a report of an assault on the forecourt of the BP garage on Lowmoor Road.
The incident involved two men. One of the men sustained facial injuries.
The second incident was reported to police at 9.32pm but occurred earlier that evening in which cash which was taken from a property on Greenacres, Wigton.
A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault ABH and theft and release on police bail.
