Overnight closures for A6 Carleton in Carlisle

A road will be closed for the next four nights for resurfacing works. 
Cumbria Highways is working on the A6 Carleton Road in Carlisle extending in a north westerly direction for about 170m.

A road will be closed for the next four nights for resurfacing works.

Cumbria Highways is working on the A6 Carleton Road in Carlisle extending in a north westerly direction for about 170m.

The road will be closed between the hours of 7pm and 6am until February 26.

An alternative route for drivers will be avaialble and signposted via the unrestricted section of A6 Carleton Road and London Road, Eastern Way, Warwick Road, Rosehill Roundabout and the M6.

For those not permitted to use the motorway, drivers can use the unrestricted sections of the A6, B6263 (Wetheral), A69 (Warwick Bridge and Rosehill) and Eastern Way.

A route for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
