A person was taken to hospital and animals on a Thursby farm had to be treated by a vet following a fire in a building yesterday.
Two fire engines were called to East Park, Crofton, at around 4.30pm after a blaze broke out in a farm building containing large bales of straw.
One casualty suffered from smoke inhalation and was taken to hospital and a vet was also requested for animals suffering from smoke inhalation.
Crews were in attendance for about an hour.
