Three fire appliances were called to rescue a casualty who had fallen down an embankment.
At 12.31pm on Monday, firefighters attended River Bank Road in Kendal. The incident involved the rescue of one casualty who had fallen down an embankment.
Firefighters used working at height equipment to bring the casualty to safety and left them in the care of ambulance paramedics.
The fire service was on scene for about 20 minutes.
