Families are invited to an Easter trail in their local park this half-term.
Workington Town Council is inviting people to Vulcan Park for an Easter trail on Sunday, April 11 from 10am to 3pm in Vulcan Park.
Hidden in the park will be 10 Easter pictures and you are challenged to find them all to be in with a chance to win a £20 voucher for a store of your choice.
Carole Armstrong, chairwoman of Workington Town Council’s culture committee said: “We hope this will give the children something to do during Easter half term and is a great way to get some fresh air and exercise. We are hoping for some nice weather for us all to enjoy”.
Children and adults are asked to make a list of the pictures they find and send them into Workington Town Council’s Facebook page, tag them in Instagram posts (@visitworkington) or send an e-mail to [email protected].
One winner will be selected at random to win a £20 voucher for a store of their choice.
Workington Town Council also encourages everyone to download the ‘Spring Spotter’ sheet from their website to take along and see if you can spot the signs of spring in the park www.workingtontowncouncil.gov.uk.
