Four fire crews tackled a wildfire on Black Combe in Copeland for several hours yesterday.
Around 800 square metres of moorland covering 800 metres long near the summit was alight when firefighters arrived at around 12.40pm.
Two wildlife teams and a mountain rescue joint incident command unit also attended the incident.
