St Mary’s Hospice in Ulverston has been awarded £10,000 by Cumbria Community Foundation to help its staff work remotely.
The cash from the foundation’s COVID-19 fund will be used to buy laptops so its non-clinical staff can work remotely, helping to keep the hospice’s in-patient unit COVID-secure and allow the charity to continue to offer flexible support and care for those who need it in these challenging times.
A spokesman for the hospice said: “We are incredibly grateful for the support of Cumbria Community Foundation and the difference it makes to our community.”
