50 pigs rescued from outbuilding fire

Firefighters rescued 50 pigs from a fire at an outbuilding in west Cumbria.

Five fire engines attended Dalzell Street in Moor Row at 11.38am yesterday.

Teams rescued about 50 pigs during the incident.

One person at the scene suffered smoke inhalation.

Crews were in attendance for about one hour and 50 minutes.
