A man in his 60s is in a critical condition after a crash in Eden.
Emergency services were called to the A6 south of Shap shortly before 7pm yesterday.
Multiple resources from North West Ambulance Service and an air ambulance attended the scene.
Two patients were taken to hospital by road, one of which is in a critical condition. The other patient suffered a hand injury.
Three fire engines were also called to the scene.
