A community group is appealing for counsellors to come forward to deal with the demand for their services.
Carlisle-based Leave A Light On is asking counsellors in Cumbria who are willing to help or hold counselling training to come forward.
They say they need help with the “immediate need” for counselling in the area as a temporary stopgap until people can access the help they need.
