Police have confirmed that the injuries suffered by two drivers involved in a Carlisle crash are believed to be minor.
The drivers were taken to the Cumberland Infirmary after a crash on Church Street in the Caldewgate area of the city shortly before 2.30pm yesterday.
Involved in the crash was a Honda Insight and a Peugeot van.
The road was closed whilst recovery took place and emergency services attended the scene.
