A South Lakes care company has been shortlisted for a regional award.
Westmorland Homecare, based in Kendal, is in the running for the best care team in the North West title in the Great British Care Awards.
Westmorland Homecare’s care manager, Bernadine Davies, said: “I am so incredibly proud of the whole team.
“The nomination, and being finalists is a real recognition of the sense of ownership we instil in all our staff so that they are fully engaged with the commitment to deliver the highest level of care.
“We have two full time staff training and development coordinators who deliver extensive care training to all our staff, including the office team.
“Our feedback from clients and staff is consistently positive and, reflects the pride and devotion shown across the whole company.
“I can honestly say that every day I witness heart-warming, outstanding care provided by the team to our clients.”
The awards are due to be held in July.
