A council is informing residents about its arrangements for the upcoming bank holiday.
All household waste, recycling and garden waste collections will take place one day later than normal next week (including a Saturday collection for those who would ordinarily be collected on Friday, May 7).
Residents can find out when their next collection will be at www.copeland.gov.uk.

For dangerous structures, call 01946 427121 out of office hours.
For flooding, sandbags requests for residential properties and serious food safety incidents, call 01946 427171 out of office hours.

All Copeland Council offices, The Beacon Museum, and Distington Hall Crematorium offices and Chapel of Remembrance, remain closed to the public due to the coronavirus pandemic.
