Cumbria County Council has brought together local partners to create an Ulverston Town Team, to support the development of a ‘Place Plan.’
They will be working with local community stakeholders across the town, to develop a vision for Ulverston.
This will help to:
- Attract new businesses to our town and town centre.
- Increase and retain our working-age population.
- Raise the standard of the physical environment in our town and town centre.
- Deliver new jobs and opportunities for economic and social participation.
- Increase the number of visitors who spend time and money in our town.
Cumbria County Council said they hope the vision will build local pride and confidence in the town, and to help further develop Ulverston as the economy recovers from the coronavirus pandemic.
