A man has been arrested following reports of a sexual assault in Barrow on Monday.
A woman, in her 20s, was attacked in Barrow Park at around 6.30pm.
On Wednesday, in a separate incident, police received reports of another woman being verbally abused and threatened in Elm Street, at about 6pm.
A man, 28, has been arrested in connection with both incidents and bailed pending further investigations.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
