
Residents in Copeland are being informed about the council arrangements for the upcoming bank holiday.
Copeland Council has made the following arrangements:
- All household waste, recycling and garden waste collections will take place one day later than normal that week (including a Saturday collection for those who would ordinarily be collected on Friday, June 4).
- Residents can find out when their next collection will be at www.copeland.gov.uk.
- The council’s out-of-hours emergency number for issues relating to homelessness and domestic abuse support is 01946 598300.
- For dangerous structures, call 01946 427121 out of office hours.
- For flooding, sandbags requests for residential properties and serious food safety incidents, call 01946 427171 out of office hours. Alternatively, to request sandbags for residential properties, email [email protected].
- All Copeland council offices, and Distington Hall Crematorium offices and the Chapel of Remembrance, remain closed to the public due to the coronavirus pandemic.
