
An 11-year-year-old boy was airlifted to hospital after a crash on the A69.
Police were called at 4.40pm yesterday to a one-vehicle collision near Brampton.
The crash involved a Ford Focus.
The front seat passenger of the Ford, a 11-year-old boy, was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle with serious injuries.
The driver of the Ford, a woman in her 40s, and two other passengers, were taken to the Cumberland Infirmary Carlisle with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
The road was blocked while emergency services, Highways England and recovery were on scene, but has since reopened.
