A 35-year-old man was taken to hospital after being assaulted by two men in Kendal last night.
The man sustained an ankle injury and his attackers are described as in their early 20s, both white, skinny and tall. One was wearing a dark cap, dark shorts and was carrying a rucksack and the other had brown slicked back hair.
The incident occurred at around 8.30pm at Highgate near to the junction of Captain French Lane and police are keen to speak to a man who was potentially threatened and attacked at the same time by the two men.
