A 12-year-old girl was approached by a ‘suspicious-looking’ man in Kendal yesterday.
Cumbria police is investigating after the girl was approached and asked a number of questions by the man, who was described as being in his 40s, of a medium height and with dark hair.
He was seen on the grass area between Kendal Parish Church and Abbot Hall at around 4.30pm to 5pm.
The girl declined and walked away, then the man asked further questions before leaving in the direction of the river.
