Carlisle’s Edenside Cricket Club ground will host Cumbria’s first floodlit cricket match on Friday.
Carlisle will entertain Cockermouth in the competitive white ball, coloured clothing, floodlit game from 7pm.
The 2018 and 2019 Readers Cumbria Premier Division Champions go head-to-head under lights.
A spokesman said: “Both sides have an abundance of cricketing talent and there are several county players in both teams.”
The 17 Sports North Group match is sponsored by Sunbelt Rentals.
Play starts at 7pm with pre-match formalities and bars open from 6pm.
Post-match entertainment will be provided by High Dynamics.
