Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault that occurred at around 9.30am on June 15 in Workington.
The incident, on Senhouse Street, was reported to have involved two men.
A man, who was sat in a Mercedes van at the time of incident, was punched in the face.
A 31-year-old man from Carlisle was arrested on suspicion of common assault and has been released under investigation.
