Police are probing a report of dangerous driving in Cleator Moor.
The incident took place on the A5086, near to the Old Posting House pub, at about 5.50pm on June 22.
It was reported that a Suzuki Swift overtook a horsebox, which caused an oncoming small van to take immediate evasive action to avoid a collision.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, in particular those with dashcam footage.
