Firms, charities and organisations across West Cumbria can take part in a free digital marketing workshop with Google tomorrow.

Workington MP Mark Jenkinson is hosting the Google webinar, which takes place between 2pm and 3pm.

The training session will feature topics such as boosting search engine presence, managing social media platforms, and creating a digital strategy.

Mr Jenkinson said “The Google Digital Garage training session is a fantastic opportunity for organisations – old or new – to boost their digital skills and keep up-to-date with the latest advice from experts.

As the UK progresses with its post-pandemic economic recovery, I want to make sure that businesses are equipped to join our nationwide plan for growth.

I look forward to hearing from the organisations that want to take part.”

The first 15 minutes will be an opportunity for Mark to hear from the businesses, how their organisation has adapted throughout the pandemic and to understand what further support is needed to grow, as part of the UK’s economic recovery.

This will be followed by a 45-minute training session with a Google Digital Garage trainer.
