Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault of a child in the car park of a Whitehaven supermarket.
The incident happened in the Tesco car park on Bransty Row between 2.50pm and 3.05pm on June 26.
It was reported that a man assaulted a child and then left the carpark on foot.
The child was not injured as a result of the incident.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, in particular to those who have dashcam footage.
