Police are investigating an assault believed to have taken place between noon and 6pm on June 18, near Goose Holme Park, Kendal.
A man in his 20s sustained injuries to his head as a result of the incident. He did not attend hospital.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
