Captains of Carlisle Golf Club have raised £7,000 for two charities.
Last year, men’s captain Stewart O’Neil and lady captain Janet Davies chose the Alzheimer’s Society and Carlisle Youth Zone to benefit from their annual charity fundraising.
Despite the restrictions of COVID-19, they managed to fundraise at the Captains’ Day and also sold homemade masks and cakes throughout the year to raise £7,000, which has been split between the two charities.
