Carlisle are fast becoming the great innovators of the Cumbria Cricket League with another event being staged at Edenside this weekend.
Following the hugely successful floodlight game last Friday, members at the club are preparing to stage GINFEST21 at the ground on Saturday.
It will be staged while Carlisle will be looking to put their season back on track in the Readers Cumbria Premier Division with a home game against Wigton.
Secretary Mark Davidson said: “It’s another hectic weekend in prospect again because we have all sorts of matches taking place over the three days.”
On Friday night it’s the first of an eight-week programme of women and girls cricket and then on Saturday morning the kids take over with another session of the popular All Stars and Dynamos.
