Skipper Gary Pratt is unavailable for Cumbria’s opening three-day NCA Championship game of the season against Northumberland.
Pratt has a club knock-out game for Richmondshire on the Sunday so will travel over afterwards to support his county team-mates.

It is one of two changes that Cumbria have made from the side which beat Suffolk on Sunday in the thrilling NCA Trophy quarter final.
Keswick seamer James McGown is not available so the Workington captain Matty Lowden is drafted into the attack. Jonathan Davidson of Carlisle joins the squad as 12th man.
The team is: Michael Slack (Carlisle, capt), Ben Davidson (Carlisle), Nathan Waterston (Furness), Sam Dutton (Blackpool), Matthew Sempill (Cockermouth), Paul Hindmarch (Cockermouth), Tom Benn (Carlisle, wk), Nico Watt (Wigton), Sam Sharp (Cockermouth), Matthew Lowden (Workington), Matthew Siddall (Blackpool). 12th man Jonathan Davidson (Carlisle).
Carlisle secretary Mark Davidson said: “At Edenside we are all delighted to welcome Cumbria back for a three-day game.
“After missing so much cricket last year it’s great to be making up for lost time.
“We’ve already enjoyed some big events at the ground this season with our floodlit game and the GinFest and we are hoping that as many people as possible will come and support the county over the three days.”
Cumbria are involved in a 50-overs game today when they take on a Lancashire X1 in a friendly at Sedbergh School.
