COVID-19 has again ruined the Holmen Iggesund Cumberland ARL programme this weekend with half the scheduled games called off.
Kells A meet Seaton tonight in a Premier Division game while tomorrow in the First Division Egremont A v Seaton A and Aspatria v Hensingham still survive.
Secretary Lorraine Degraffe said: “It’s becoming a nightmare. Five weeks into the season we have only played ten games with 13 already postponed and we are supposed to be finished on September 25.
“I am trying to fit in as many mid-week games as I can but COVID is playing havoc with our plans.”
The National Conference RL Cumbria Group has fared badly, too, with just one game on tomorrow- Barrow Island v Kells. Askam have already pulled out of the competition.
