Vehicle stolen and later recovered in Barrow

Police are probing after a vehicle was stolen before it was later located.

Police are probing after a vehicle was stolen before it was later located.

Officers were called at 7.23am this morning to the report of a vehicle being stolen from the new barns area of Barrow. The vehicle was taken overnight from Middleton Avenue.

The vehicle has since been located and recovered.

Police are appealing for any information regarding this incident.

The force would especially like to identify and speak to four males seen in the area around this time, to assist with enquiries.

Two of the males are described as:

  • Male in his 20s, unshaven and wearing a yellow top.
  • Male wearing black shorts, dark shirt, and white trainers.

Any witnesses or anyone with information relating to this incident is asked to report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/reportit , quoting incident number 48 of July 23. You can also call 101.
