Fire crews are tackling a building blaze on a farm near Waverton and people living in the area are advised to keep their windows closed.

At the height of the blaze there were eight fire engines in attendance, from across North Cumbria.

The fire involves hay, and various farm equipment, and the construction is believed to be made of asbestos.

They were called at around 12.40am to the farm, just off the A596 after reports that an agricultural building was on fire.

The incident is still ongoing.
