Investigations are ongoing after a suspicious letter was sent to a council building in West Cumbria.
Police and firefighters were called to Allerdale House at around 10.40am yesterday after concerns were raised about a suspicious letter.
Tests carried out by Cumbria Fire and Rescue on the small amount of substance could not identify anything hazardous.
There was no risk to the wider public.
However, a spokeswoman for Cumbria Constabulary confirmed that investigations are still ongoing into the incident.
