An opportunity for young people in Cumbria to learn about entrepreneurship will be held next month.
Held in the Bus Station in Whitehaven, the two-day programme has been organised by The Entrepreneurs Group.
The company is offering those aged between 16-25 a fully funded place on programme.
Keith McMean, of The Entrepreneurs Grou, said: “The world of entrepreneurship and starting and growing a business is rewarding and full of fulfilment.
“The concept of encouraging and championing new business ideas and diversity in young talent is exciting and important.
“Sometimes, those with ideas just need the guidance and support to see them through, especially if that person isn’t already surrounded by those with the mind of an entrepreneur.”
“Young entrepreneurs are a new untapped area for the traditionally old-fashioned county of Cumbria, so we’ve took on the challenge and ready to help and guide the young Richard Branson’s of the county.”
The in-person programme on September 7 and 8 will cover expert advice for setting up a new business, sales, marketing strategy, cashflow forecasting and why it’s so important, building a tribe (team), using technology in your business, how to innovate and disrupt and creating a business plan with the Business Model Canvas (BMC).
