One of Cumbria’s leading financial services firms has promoted a highly experienced staff member into a newly created role.
Kerry Hindson has been appointed as group tax director for Lamont Pridmore, which has eight offices across Cumbria and in Carnforth.
Kerry, who was previously tax manager for the firm’s South Cumbria offices, will provide specialist tax advice to clients across Cumbria and beyond, and support the firm’s tax managers and managing directors with complex tax cases.
Kerry is a chartered tax adviser and chartered certified accountant.
She has worked for Lamont Pridmore for nine years and has a 23-year career in accountancy.
Kerry said: “Many people find dealing with tax matters very stressful. I particularly enjoy helping clients make sense of complicated tax affairs and aim to ensure they are as simple to understand as possible.
“This new role will enable me to share my knowledge and experience across the Lamont Pridmore group with our team and clients.”
Graham Lamont, chief executive of Lamont Pridmore, said: “This promotion recognises Kerry’s vast experience and hard work. Her skills, knowledge and qualifications are a real asset to the firm, and our clients benefit financially and personally from her advice.”
Karl Burrell, managing director of Lamont Pridmore South Cumbria, said: “I’d like to congratulate Kerry on her promotion which recognises the fantastic levels of service and client care she provides, as well as the support she gives to the rest of our team.”
