Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Kirkoswald last Friday night.
The incident happened at around 8.45pm in the area of Featherstone Hill.
A man in his 30s was assaulted and sustained minor injuries.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with relevent dashcam footage.
