Around £150 in loose change has been stolen from a mobility trike in Silloth.
The incident happened at around 11pm on Friday, July 24, when a mobility trike was taken from outside Solway Bowls and Social Club on Eden Street.
It was ridden along Eden Street towards The Green before being returned at around 11.50pm.
The cash is believed to have been stolen from a storage compartment before those responsible left the area. No one was injured.
Cumbria police said they had obtained CCTV showing four people involved in the incident, believed to be two young males boys and two young females.
One of the males appeared to be carrying a bag believed to contain the stolen cash before the group walked in the direction of the Albion Inn.
Officers are appealing to anyone who was in the Eden Street, The Green or Albion Inn area between 11pm and midnight on Friday and saw the group or witnessed the incident to contact police.
Police are also keen to hear from anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage from the area during the relevant time.
