Two World War Two naval shells were found on a Cumbrian beach.
Furness Coastguard was called to assist Millom Coastguard Rescue Team after ordnance was found on the beach at Eskmeals at 8.33am today.
The items were checked and identified as World War Two naval shells which were inert and posed no further danger.
They will be removed by the team at Eskmeals Firing Range.
