A woman was found in distress on the side of the road between Asby and Workington.
Police are investigating reports that a woman was found in distress on the side of the road at about 11pm on August 17.
A vehicle was seen stopped on the road and a woman in distress was seen nearby.
Another vehicle stopped and a man inside checked on the woman’s welfare. Officers are asking for the occupant of this vehicle to contact police.
