
Police are investigating after five teenagers made distressing comments towards a woman who was out running.
Officers are appealing for information following an incident on Sunday at about 6.45am near the service station on Wigton Road in Carlisle.
During the incident, a woman was running when five teenagers, all male, have stopped her and made comments which caused the runner distress.
The teenagers are described as aged between 17 to 18. They were all dressed in jeans and dark t-shirts and were wearing either a jumper or zip-up cardigans.
