A woman critically injured at an event in Barrow has been transferred to the Royal Preston Hospital.
Emergency services were called to the incident at Cavendish Park yesterday at around 8.30pm after two women and a man were injured.
Two of the people were reported to have been on a ride at the event at the time.
Police and the Health and Safety Executive have launched a joint investigation.
All three casualties were initially taken to Furness General Hospital. The injured man and the other injured woman have since been released.
A statement from Cumbria police said: “The third female has been transferred to Royal Preston Hospital where she remains in a critical condition.
“A cordon remains in place whilst investigations continue.”
