Drivers are asked to avoid Honister Pass as emergency services deal with a collision.
Cumbria police said they thanked people for their patience as they attend the incident, reported at 11.24am today.
It is understood the collision involved a cyclist on the B5289, between the Seathwaite turn-off and the Keswick turn-off.
