Alcohol was stolen from a lorry parked overnight at a roadside cafe.
The lorry was parked at the Stainmore Cafe on the A66 overnight on Wednesday.
Police are investigating the theft, which took place between 11.55pm on Wednesday and 5am yesterday.
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone who saw anything suspicious to contact them.
Anybody who has dashcam footage from the car park at the relevant time is also asked to come forward.
