Calder Bar and Lounge will host Seascale’s first beer festival since 2016 next month.

Organisers are promising that Calder Beer Fest, as part of the bar’s grand reopening, will put Seascale on the map.

The three-day event promises a selection of fine local ales and beers, performances from some of Cumbria’s best up-and-coming talent and food.

‘We’re putting the Calder Bar on the map’

The recently renovated 1800s era girls prep school is ready to firmly cement their place as one of Cumbria’s must visit destinations as they host Calder Beer Fest.

After taking on new management, the Calder Bar and Lounge has been hard at work restoring the hotel to its former glory since its closure in late 2019.

Now, they’re ready to bounce back with Seascale’s first beer festival since 2016!

Taking place on October 8, 9 and 10, they’ll have plenty of food to keep your bellies full, such as their Pulled Pork Baps with Apple Sauce or their Deep Fried Mozzarella Burger. All served with chips and freshly prepared by their in-house chef.

They’ll also be serving a selection of the finest local ales and beer that the Lake District has to offer.

Head on over to their Facebook page to vote for the ales and beers that you would like to see at the event here.

Also, get ready to get your boogie on as they’ll be hosting live music across all three days!

With performances from the likes of Cumbria’s 1920s sweetheart Cindy Hoten, the critically acclaimed Jameson Cover Band and the upcoming Irish folk extraordinaire Ged Hagan.

How do I get tickets for Calder Beer Festival?

Tickets are available now from £14.95 per day or £17.95 OTD (£9.95 for children under 12) and includes: guaranteed entry for a day of your choosing, one free meal in the basket deal and one free ale/beer/soft-drink or non-alcoholic beverage of your choice.

Be sure to secure your tickets quickly as they are selling out and once they’re gone, they’re GONE!

Lastly, if you’ve had a bit too much ale, you can stay at the hotel with their Calder Beer Fest Special package. From £125 per night (maximum 2 people) the deal includes: bed and breakfast,
