A new Indian takeaway is set to open in Carlisle with the owners promising to “wow the local community”.
Red Chillies is set to open on the site of the former Surma takeaway on Denton Street later this year.
The takeaway will serve Indian and Bangladeshi food, similar to what had previously been served in Surma.
Iftikar Hussain, a spokesman for Red Chillies, said: “The owners hope to wow the local community with fabulous friendly service while moving into the Denton Holme area.”
